Our Story


Kirt Hamburg and his wife Jennifer are Baja Dream Properites' primary investors with property on both sides of the Baja peninsula. The Vista del Cortez Eco-friendly Community ~ on the Sea of Cortez consists of 58 lots -- each 1/3 to 1/2 acre overlooking the town of Los Barriles (about an hour and 1/2 north of Cabo San Lucas). Every lot has sweeping views the Sea of Cortez. Baja Dream Properites also owns 1,500 prime acres on the Pacific Ocean  -- about an hour northwest of La Paz.

Kirt and Jen first came down to Baja from their hometown of Granite Bay near Sacramento when their two daughters were in elementary school and fell in love with the area. Since then, the Hamburgs spend as much time as possible living the Baja dream on the Pacific Coast and the East Cape. They easily bounce back and forth between the hustle and bustle of the U.S. and the more leisurely pace of Baja. It’s a convenient commute because the San Jose del Cabo International airport is less than an hour from the Vista del Cortez property on the Sea of Cortez overlooking the village of Los Barriles  – and the La Paz International airport is an hour away from their Pacific Coast properties.

Kirt and Jen love it that they can begin their day in their family home in Sacramento and by the afternoon, stroll along the beach in Baja, watching their daughters play in the gorgeous Sea of Cortez.

Our focus is buying and selling ocean view property in Baja Sur, Mexico (Southern Baja Mexico). All properties are owned without debt by Baja Dream Properties, all have legal title and are insured with US Title Insurance. All parcels are legally subdivided with recorded parcel numbers ensuring that clean, legal title can be transferred easily.
